Luna's Dark Secret are a 3-piece Australian Hard-rock, Alternative rock, High energy rock band from Melbourne, Australia.
​
The band formed in 2022 from a collection of Rock loving Gen Xers who got together after all 3 members who were in other bands decided to start jamming, the chemistry instantly connected them, and the magic commenced.
​
All 3 members have a broad love of Heavy metal, hard rock, classic rock, and alternative rock genres giving Luna’s Dark Secret a great eclectic mix of rock sounds and styles.
​
A mix of old and new Bands such as Bring me the Horizon, Iron Maiden, Mammal, Ra, Foo Fighters, AC/DC, Queens of the Stone Age and Rammstein are all heavy influencers of the band.
​
Their unique brand of entertainment fuses Hard hitting, high energy rock grooves and Heavy, dark, slower tunes, with masks to create some mystery and anonymity and a surprising change of rock styles during every gig that will make you want to want more!!​

A recent review of our debut album:
​Aussie Indie artist Luna's Dark Secret's debut album is a brilliant release.
The band blends multiple styles, genres and feels to this eclectic mix of works.
Songs like "Angel in the Dark" bring a funky groove blended with hard rock and dynamic vocals, a cool groovy bassline and funky drum line give this song an addictive tone.
Then the band performs a hard rock / dark and angry version of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" that builds to a hard hitting crescendo with some emotional guitar riffs and strong vocal performance.
Just to mix it up further, you then get 2 great power ballads in I'm Waking up now" and the sad song "Forsaken Town" that also builds into an emotional crescendo!
Then you get hard and fast punk rock "Cosmic Psycho" which has you tapping your steering wheel relentlessly with a fast paced groove and great dynamics!
To add more confusion, we then get dished up "Fly Away" which smacks you right in the mouth with metal, hard rock, hard and fast drumming and gut wrenching vocals.
They have also created some great supporting videos for every song on the album and are very worthy of watching on YouTube.
With the band already working on their second album, the self-titled debut is very ear worthy!
